Ranger Alcohol Pearls Card with Southern Ridge Trading Company

The starfish and anchor are Southern Ridge Trading Company.  The sentiment is SSS, the shell stamp is Tim Holtz and the bkg is Ranger Alcohol Ink Pearls.  There is also Distress Crackle Paint in two of the corners.  The Ranger Alcohol Ink Pearls create a look that reminds me of a shinny spandex type swimsuit.

Southern Girl's Challenge Stripes (Differently)

Hello Pepps!  I'm posting for the Southern Girl's Challenge today.  I wanted to do "stripes" differently so I used alcohol inks.  I used some blues with silver.  The stamps are from Concord and 9th's Hello Sunshine Turnabout.

Using a blue and orange alcohol ink, alcohol ink on vellum. Let dry. Stamp Hero Arts' muffin with Tim Holtz Alcohol Lift Pad. Wait 8 mins and then wipe off lifted ink. Cut out vellum muffin and white card stock muffin.

Stamp Out Cancer Blog Hop

No photo description available.

Welcome to Scrap'n Stamp's hop to Stamp Out Cancer.
In lieu of prizes for this hop, Scrap'n Stamp will donate 10% from all the sales made this weekend - June 8th and 9th - to Push For Your Tush Fundraising Walk for Colon Cancer Canada in honor of team member Nancy Barnett Elrick.

You can read more about Nancy's story HERE and if you would like to donate to the Push For Your Tush Fundraising Walk For Colon Cancer Canada you can do that HERE.

Here is my first card.  I love Lawn Fawn so I used their patterned paper (Spiffy Speckles and an old rainbow pattern).  Next I imprinted the Outside In Lawn Fawn Stitched Star Stackables.  I used my Cuttlebug with a metal shim and a rubber mat to accomplish this.  The stars are cut from various Lawn Fawn die sets (Tiny Gift Box and Say What? Tags) the sentiment is die cut from Lawn Fawn's Quinn's ABCs out of craft foam.

Below is my second card.  This may seem like a strange card for a cancer blog hop; however, making the most of conditions is one of the best things to do in any horrible situation.  And yes, I speak from experience.

I made this card with left over alcohol ink scraps,  Lawn Fawn's Smitty's ABCs and a dollar store wood chip.

Be sure to check out all the stops on the hop.

Asian Lawn Fawn Card

Hi Peeps! I'm up on the Scrap 'N Stamp Canada blog with a new alcohol ink technique for you!

Directions:

Die cut a stitched rectangle out of Yupo Paper. Add an alcohol ink rainbow and let dry. Dry emboss with an Darice Embossing Folder. Sand raised areas for added dimension and interest. Adhere to an A2 card front.

Stamp out Lawn Fawn images. Colour Lawn Fawn unicorn from the Say What? Christmas Critters stamp set with an alcohol based marker. Stamp pink bubble heart with Hero Arts Bubblegum Pink Ink.

Die cut stars and hearts from Lawn Fawn's Say What Gift Tags also die cut a Lawn Fawn Fancy Wavy Banner and stamp the word "smile" on the banner end from Lawn Fawn's Year Three stamp set.

Assemble card as shown popping up the sentiment and critters with foam tape.

Please note that this alcohol ink panel was a complete failure until I embossed and sanded it... keep those "failures" they may be anything but.

Floral Frenzy Scrap N Stamp Blog Hop

Welcome to another blog hop at Scrap N Stamp!

Directions:

First I used a piece of yupo paper with alcohol inks.  I used Gold, Sunshine Yellow, Sailboat Blue and Clover alcohol inks.  I then stamp a small flower numerous times with Lawn Fawn's Flutter By stamp set and coloured it with alcohol based markers.  I stamped the sentiment "let's party" from Lawn Fawn's Party Animal stamp set on a die cut from Lawn Fawn's Fancy Wavy Banners.

I adhered the yupo panel with dry adhesive to an A2 card front.  Then I added the other elements.  Please note that the banner and some of the flowers double up.  In other words there are two banners with foam squares in between.  The same goes for the flowers.

Inside I added more flowers from Lawn Fawn's Flutter By stamp set.

Scrap N Stamp has a prize of a $50.00 gift card, so be sure to leave a comment on each designer's blog as you go through the hop.
